Being a teacher requires constant creation and improvement of teaching materials and tools. That is why I welcomed when you offered us your didactically processed games. The game is always a motivating factor for students. In addition, as an english teacher, it's a bonus that your games are also available in english language, since it is a great form of learning a foreign language and developing students' competencies at the same time.
The latest research proves that computer games help children in their development. Especially if they are appropriately and purposefully selected. That is also why I decided to cooperate with Impact Games. Their smartphone games offer children an environment that is close to them. They bring children fun and joy from the achieved game results. Games give them quick feedback, which often makes the game a motivational tool as well as a teaching tool.
Classic teaching today needs a change. It is necessary to bring modern teaching methods to the fore. Games are a great way to educate students in a memorable way: through experiences. I'm really glad to be working with Impact Games. And at the same time, I thank them for contributing to the improvement of teaching in our schools.
When children learn through play, the atmosphere in the classroom suddenly takes on a different vibe. You can feel the relaxation, the tension disappears, joy and fun reign around the classroom. With the Garbage Gobblers game, we managed to create a wonderful working atmosphere in fourth graders class. The game encouraged spontaneity, creativity, cooperation and healthy competition among pupils.
In this age of information as well as misinformation, the game "follow me" is an excellent tool for several general education subjects. It directly develops students' critical thinking and encourages them to be interested in knowledge. My students loved the game!
I would use Daniel Hevier's quote: "Let's try to unlearn it - just come and unlearn it." " As a teacher, I want education to be fun for me and my students so it would make sense to us together. Education through play gives students the opportunity to learn in a natural and non-violent way in a safe space. It not only enlivens the entire learning process, but we can develop the necessary competencies through it.
Games from Impact Games help me learn in an experiential way. When learning through games, I have natural opportunities to communicate with students informally. It has proven to me that if the teacher is a participant in the game, the students see him in a different light (they like to compete with the teacher and want to win over him). This makes it possible to build the natural authority of the teacher.
Compared to the "classics", education through games brings fun, and students can see the desire to learn something new. I perceive that they work well with games, because they control them and do not learn according to some template.
